Combined four village map sheets on my phone in minutes
The editor worked perfectly on my phone. I uploaded the four adjacent survey sheets (S1, S2, S3, S4), aligned the edges where they meet, and exported a single print-ready map in minutes — no office visit and no surveyor needed. Best of all, the sheets stayed private on my phone the whole time. Simple, fast and accurate.
Joined my own FMB sheets in the editor — nothing to install
I downloaded my village map and FMB sketches and used the in-browser editor to join them myself. I just dragged each sheet onto the canvas and nudged the pieces with the arrow keys until the boundary lines lined up exactly. There was no software to install, and the maps never left my device. One payment covered the whole thing, and the export came out clean and sharp. Brilliant tool!
Got my combined FMB from home — no office visits needed
VillageMapJoiner made joining my land's FMB sketches really easy — I got the combined map from home without running to any office. When I asked for the old FMB, they clearly guided me that it's available at the District Collector office. Good service.
Incredible service for peace of mind!
I used this website to get a Joined FMB map, and the entire experience was seamless and fast. By combining individual sketches into one continuous view, it clearly illustrates how my property lines interact with adjacent plots. Having this definitive, highly accurate map leaves zero room for arguments and completely eliminates the risk of boundary disputes with neighbors. It is a fantastic platform that saves a lot of hassle—highly recommended!
What you can join
However many sheets it takes
There is no limit on the number of sheets, and they don't have to come from the same village.
Join two Gata / Khasra numbers
Land recorded as two adjoining gata / khasra numbers has a sheet for each and neither shows the whole property. Put both on one canvas and the boundary they share lines up.
How it works →Join subdivisions of one Gata / Khasra number
A gata / khasra number split between heirs or buyers is issued as a sheet per share. Bring the shares you need back together to see the parent parcel whole.
How it works →Show each share on one map
After a partition every share sits on its own sheet. Assemble them into a single map that shows who holds what, and how the shares sit against each other.
How it works →Prove a boundary against the next parcel
A boundary argument is about two gata / khasra numbers, and one sheet only ever shows one of them. Joined, the shared edge is visible in one drawing.
How it works →Join two villages
Land that crosses a village boundary needs Bhu-Naksha (village map) sheets from both sides. Place them side by side and the holding stops being two half-views.
How it works →Merge contiguous parcels for a layout
Several gata / khasra numbers bought together are one site on the ground and several sheets on paper. Join them into the single plan a layout, a valuer or an investor file needs.
How it works →Who uses it in Uttar Pradesh: Around Noida, Ghaziabad and Lucknow this is a land-aggregation tool as much as a landowner's one: buyers assembling several Gata numbers across adjoining villages join the sheets into a single plan for site checks, layout work and bank or investor files.

High-res export
Export one continuous map as a PNG or print-ready A0–A4 PDF.
In Uttar Pradesh the village map is the Bhu-Naksha, and a single revenue village is commonly issued as several adjacent sheets. Download the sheets covering your Gata (Khasra) numbers from UP Bhu-Naksha, then use Village Map Joiner's in-browser editor to line them up along their shared boundaries into one continuous village map.
Everything runs on your own device: the sheets never leave your phone or computer. Drag each sheet onto the canvas, nudge it until the boundary lines meet, and download the joined Bhu-Naksha at full resolution. The Khatauni you pull from UP Bhulekh stays your textual record of rights; this tool assembles the map that goes with it.
There is no limit on how many sheets go into one map. Join two Gata numbers or twenty, pull in every sheet of a large village, or place two neighbouring villages of the same tehsil side by side to see a holding that crosses the boundary. It is one canvas, and the export is one map.

Uttar Pradesh land records & documents
What each Uttar Pradesh land document is, and how to get it from UP Bhulekh before you join the sheets in the editor.
Bhu-Naksha (village map)
The cadastral map of a revenue village, showing every Gata (plot) with its boundaries and Gata numbers. A large village is issued as several adjacent sheets: these are exactly what you join, sheet by sheet, into one continuous village map.
How to get it: Open upbhunaksha.gov.in, pick your district, tehsil and village, then select the Gata numbers you need and download or print the sheet. Repeat for each sheet your holding spans, then bring them all into the editor.
Khatauni (record of rights)
The textual record for a holding (who holds it, under which Khata, and how much area), maintained for each revenue village and revised every six years. It names the land; it does not draw it.
How to get it: Open upbhulekh.gov.in, choose 'Khatauni (Adhikar Abhilekh) ki Nakal Dekhein', pick district, tehsil and village, then search by Khasra/Gata number, Khata number or holder name. The copy shown online is for information; a certified copy comes from the tehsil.
Khasra (field register)
The plot-by-plot field register for the village, recording each Gata's area, soil class and what was grown on it season by season. It is the ground-level detail behind the Khatauni entry.
How to get it: Available through UP Bhulekh alongside the Khatauni for the same village, and from the Lekhpal or tehsil office where a certified extract is needed.
Varasat / mutation record
The record of a transfer (sale, inheritance or partition) being entered against a holding. Until mutation is complete the Khatauni still shows the previous holder, which is what a buyer checking a Gata number is really looking for.
How to get it: Applied for at the tehsil, with status trackable online through the UP revenue portals. Worth checking before you rely on a downloaded Khatauni for a purchase.

FAQ
Questions people in Uttar Pradesh ask
- How do I join village map sheets in Uttar Pradesh?
- Download the Bhu-Naksha sheets covering your Gata (Khasra) numbers from UP Bhu-Naksha, open the editor, drag each sheet onto the canvas and align the shared boundary lines, then export one combined map as a PNG or a print-ready PDF.
- What is the difference between Khatauni and Bhu-Naksha?
- The Khatauni is the textual record of rights for a holding, who holds it and how much, and comes from UP Bhulekh. The Bhu-Naksha is the map that shows where those Gata numbers sit on the ground, from UP Bhu-Naksha. You usually need both, and only the map has to be joined.
- What is a Gata number?
- Gata sankhya is the plot number on a Uttar Pradesh revenue map, the same parcel a Khasra number identifies in the field register. A holding spread over several Gata numbers has a sheet for each, which is exactly what this joins.
- Can I join sheets from two villages or two tehsils?
- Yes. Put as many sheets on the canvas as you need (several Gata numbers, every sheet of one village, or two adjoining villages of the same tehsil) and export the whole area as a single map.
- Is my data uploaded anywhere?
- No. The editor works entirely in your browser, so your Uttar Pradesh land records stay on your device.
