Assam Mouza map Joiner
Assam · Dharitree (ILRMS)
In Assam, land is recorded Mouza by Mouza, and a single Mouza map is often split across several adjacent sheets. Download the sheets for your Dag numbers from the Dharitree (ILRMS) portal, then use Village Map Joiner's free in-browser editor to line them up along their shared boundaries into one continuous Mouza map.
Everything runs on your own device — the sheets never leave your phone or computer. Drag each sheet onto the canvas, nudge it until the boundary lines meet, and preview the joined cadastral map for free. It's the same joining tool used across Tamil Nadu, and it works just as well on Assam's Mouza and Dag sketches.

Assamland records & documents
What each Assam land document is, and how to get it from Dharitree (ILRMS) before you join the sheets in the editor.
Mouza Map (Cadastral Map)
The survey map of a Mouza showing every Dag (plot) with its boundaries and Dag numbers. A Mouza is usually issued as several adjacent sheets — this is exactly what you join, sheet by sheet, into one continuous village map.
How to get it: On the Dharitree (ILRMS) portal, select your district, revenue circle and Mouza to view and download the cadastral map sheets.
Jamabandi (Record of Rights)
The record of rights for a Mouza — it lists the owner / Patta holder, the area, land class and revenue payable for each Dag. It ties every plot on the Mouza map to who owns it.
How to get it: Use the Jamabandi service on Dharitree: enter district, Mouza and the Dag or Patta number to view and download a copy.
Chitha
The field register that tracks the history and current status of each Dag — its classification, mutations and revenue — complementing the map and the Jamabandi.
How to get it: Obtained against the Dag number through the revenue circle office or the Dharitree / Mission Basundhara services.
Patta
The land-holding document naming the pattadar(s) for a set of Dags. Periodic and annual pattas are the proof of the recorded holding.
How to get it: Linked to the Jamabandi — request a certified copy through Dharitree or Mission Basundhara.

Frequently asked questions
- How do I join Mouza map sheets in Assam?
- Download the individual Mouza / Dag sketches from the Dharitree (ILRMS) portal, open Village Map Joiner's free editor, drag each sheet onto the canvas, and align the shared boundary lines. You can preview the combined map for free and export a single high-resolution PNG or print-ready PDF.
- What is a Dag number?
- A Dag number is the unique plot/survey number assigned to a parcel of land in Assam's revenue records — the equivalent of a Khasra or survey number in other states. Each Dag appears on the Mouza map for its village.
- Is my land data kept private?
- Yes. The editor processes your Mouza map sheets entirely in your browser — nothing is uploaded to any server, so your Dag and Chitha details stay on your device.
