Privacy Policy

Village Map Joiner (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is operated by Ajay Vigneshwar GB, based in Tamil Nadu, India. This policy explains what data the app does — and does not — handle when you use villagemapjoiner.in.
Your files stay on your device
The app is built to work entirely in your browser. The PDFs you add — including any survey maps, FMB sketches or village maps — are rendered, cropped, joined and exported locally on your own device. These files are never uploaded to our servers and we never see, store or transmit your map content.
Payments
Assembling and previewing your map is free. Exporting the finished file costs a one-time fee, which is processed through Razorpay, a third-party payment provider. When you pay, Razorpay collects and processes the payment information you enter (such as card or UPI details) under its own privacy policy. We do not collect or store your card or banking details.
To create and verify a payment, our server handles only the minimal transaction data needed (for example a Razorpay order ID and payment ID). This is used solely to confirm a successful payment and unlock your download or fulfil your order.
Our done-for-you service orders
If you place a paid order for one of our done-for-you services (a Combined Village Map, or an FMB Sketch sent on WhatsApp), we ask for the details we need to fulfil it: your email address, WhatsApp number, and the land details you provide (district, taluk, village, survey numbers and any comments). After your payment is confirmed, this order information is stored in our database so we can prepare your map and deliver it, and contact you about the order. We do not sell it or use it for unrelated marketing.
The free in-browser editor is unaffected — assembling and exporting your own maps there still requires no name, email or phone number, and your map files never leave your device.
Information we collect
You do not need to create an account to use the app, and the editor requires no personal details. We only collect the email, WhatsApp number and land details you choose to provide when placing a paid service order (see above). Our web host may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and request time) for security and reliability, as is typical for any website.
Cookies and analytics
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and no third-party analytics provider is involved. To understand how the site is used, we keep our own first-party analytics: a random, anonymous visitor identifier stored in your browser, together with the pages viewed and a few product events (such as opening the order form). This is aggregate and is not linked to your identity. Essential browser storage is also used to remember your settings and keep the editor working.
Third-party services
The only third-party service involved in normal use is Razorpay, for payments. Government land-record portals you visit to download your maps (such as eservices.tn.gov.in or tnlandsurvey.tn.gov.in) are run by the Government of Tamil Nadu and have their own privacy policies.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the current version.
