12 terms
- Adangalఅడంగల్
- The village land register showing, for each survey number, the holder, extent, classification and crops. Andhra Pradesh's working record of rights and the starting point for any land check.
- 1-B Register1-B
- The holder-wise register: every survey number one person holds in a village, with extents. Where the Adangal is organised by land, the 1-B is organised by holder.
- Meebhoomiమీభూమి
- The state's land-records portal, where the Adangal, the 1-B and related records are published for public viewing and download.
- Pattadar Passbook
- The book issued to a landholder listing the survey numbers they hold, used as proof of holding for loans and registration.
- Re-settlement RegisterRSR
- The register prepared at re-settlement listing each survey number with its extent and assessment. Like the Sethwar it is a founding record, consulted when a current extent is disputed.
- FMB sketchFMB
- The Field Measurement Book sketch for a survey number, showing its measured boundaries. One number per sketch, so a holding across several numbers needs them joined to show its full extent.
- Survey numberసర్వే నంబర్
- The parcel number in the village survey. Sub-divisions are written as suffixes, each with its own record and sketch, which is why a partitioned parcel arrives as several sheets.
- Diglot
- The bilingual settlement register pairing survey numbers with their extents and classifications. Used alongside the RSR when older records have to be reconciled with current ones.
- Tahsildar
- The revenue officer in charge of a mandal, responsible for land records, mutations and certified copies within it.
- Mandalమండలం
- The revenue sub-division between district and village: the level at which land records and survey requests are administered.
- Webland
- The departmental land-records application behind the public Meebhoomi views, used by revenue staff to maintain the Adangal and 1-B entries.
- Village mapగ్రామ పటం
- The cadastral map of a revenue village showing survey numbers and boundaries, issued as adjacent sheets for a large village: joined together to see a holding in full.
